 Uttar Pradesh Board:- Uttar Pradesh Board will now only allow students of class 10th and 12th with 75 percent attendance to appear for the boards examination. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has made it compulsory for students to have a minimum attendance to appear for the class 10th and 12th exams. Moreover, students who fail to meet the minimum attendance criteria will be debarred from sitting in the exams. Furthermore, such a step is being taken by the government to improve the education condition in the state. All the officials have been directed by Board to inspect the schools regularly to check whether teachers and students are attending the class or not. They also will have to submit an inspection report. Strict action will be taken against the schools head who delay the online registration for board exams till the last day. UP Board ploys to stop their salary. IE quoted Secretary of UP Board, Neena Srivastava while talking to Times of India said that the whole idea for such a step is to avoid any last-minute technical snag in the central server.

Notably, the decision is taken following last year’s situation when several principals failed to upload the details on UP Board’s official website during the one-month period. They later filed these details on the last date due to which the central server faced technical issues.

About Uttar Pradesh Board:- The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh is the Uttar Pradesh state government administered autonomous examining authority for the Standard 10 examination (or secondary school level examination) and Standard 12 examination (or inter college level examination) of Uttar Pradesh, India. The examination for the 10th and 12th standard is called the High school examination and Intermediate examination respectively. The High school and Intermediate examinations are conducted annually and simultaneously all over the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Board holds the examinations and prepares the results of nearly 32,00,000 students.
